Logistics technology: Transportation Management Systems (TMS) — made to measure
When asked about their supply chain technology investment in 2008, only 7 percent of responding shippers singled out Transportation Management Systems (TMS), according to a recent report from Boston-based AMR Research. Report findings also indicate 52 percent of respondents have already deployed a TMS, and 33 percent are planning to put it to work in the near future.
