HighJump Software, a global provider of supply chain execution solutions, has announced the purchase of Insight Distribution Software from Coaxis Inc. This move comes just two months after it acquired Beltek Systems Design, strengthening HighJump’s role as a leading software provider in the direct store delivery market.
Providing enterprise software solutions for the food and beverage distribution industries, the Insight Distribution Software product suite includes applications based on a modern technical architecture and supports easy configuration to meet the diverse operational needs of distributors, especially beer distributors in this case.
“The Insight product suite provides food and beverage distributors robust functionality on a flexible platform and is highly rated by both Anheuser-Busch and Miller Brewing Company,” said Timothy Campbell, president and chief executive office of HighJump Software. “On the heels of our November acquisition of BelTek Systems Design, this acquisition contributes to our leadership position in this market.”
HighJump Software vice president of marketing and strategy, Chad Collins, said this purchase has enabled the company to fill gaps in their portfolio. “We’ve been listening to our customers and they’ve been asking for a product like this. We’re fortunate to be in a position that allows us to grow our core business and do it profitably.”
Collins also said the recent acquisitions have added 136 customers to the company’s existing 480 customers, securing HighJump’s leadership position in direct store delivery.
The Insight Distribution Software solution includes the RouteCenter, RoutePad and Playbook applications. RouteCenter helps distributors manage today’s growing mix of products, customers and pricing with complete utilities for managing customer orders, dispatching, load processing and settlement. Playbook is a best-in-class retail sales execution, objective management and survey software solution that uses real-time sales and account specific data to help distributors build and implement effective sales strategies. Sales teams can set and track objectives and goals easily, allowing them to execute more efficiently in the field.
RoutePad is a mobile application that improves the effectiveness of route delivery drivers and mobile sales professionals. The solution supports streamlining of daily processes, accurate invoicing and field order capture.
