Averitt Express now offers weekly less-than-containerload (LCL) and full containerload (FCL) services from more than 40 Far East origin cities through hubs in Tanjung Pelepas, Malaysia, and Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
Through Averitt's partner network, freight that originates in the Far East will be shipped to both West Coast and East Coast ports. Domestic delivery will be facilitated through Averitt's ground transportation network. Shippers will have constant cargo tracking capabilities from pickup to final delivery.
Averitt's Far East service features fast transit times with dedicated weekly departures, streamlined documentation processes, and competitive rates. A range of premium, dedicated, and economy services is available.
StorageCapacity.net, an online portal that lists more than 34 million square feet of available storage space throughout the world, allows companies to advertise their unneeded warehouse space. Shippers can then run a free search of the site's database in order to locate available storage capacity in warehouses, bulk storage facilities and silos nationwide.
System Transport Inc. has launched a service for North American flatbed shippers having difficulty finding carriers. The new division, which provides services to a variety of flatbed shippers, moves freight both with outside carriers and on the company's own equipment.
