Collapsible containers designed for flexibility

Staff -- Logistics Management, 1/1/2005

Linpac Materials Handling's Ropak 3A series of collapsible containers offers a 32 x 30-inch footprint and load capacities of up to 2,000 pounds. The units are available in four heights: 25, 30, 34, and 39 inches. They feature non-sequential folding sidewalls secured by universal latches that can be operated from outside or inside the container.

The 3A Series offers a choice of zero, one, or two hinged drop doors on the 32-inch side. The drop doors are mounted with articulating hinges, allowing the open door to lie flat against the side of the container. The containers also provide four-way forklift access and are available with either a conveyable two-way or four-way forklift-entry base.

Made of durable, high-density polyethylene (HDPE), the containers easily withstand the abuse of multiple round trips. They can be stacked up to six high for better utilization of floor space. Custom colors, custom-molded logos and label areas, solid decks, lids, ID plates, and other options and accessories are also available.
