Isuzu's N-Series Designed for Durability

By Staff -- Logistics Management, 3/1/1999

Isuzu's N-Series class 3 and 4 trucks are designed for durability with their wide beam ladder-type frames, which are ideal for hauling heavy loads. For added strength and improved handling, these trucks feature "I" Beam front axles and one-piece load-bearing rear axles. Unlike van cutaways, Isuzu N-Series trucks can make U-turns on two-lane streets.

The model's low-cab forward design and four wheelbase choices make these trucks ideal for a variety of vocational applications. Other features include a telescopic steering column that adjusts to the driver's size, helping reduce driver fatigue. In addition, the trucks have the widest cabs in their class, says the manufacturer, allowing three adults to be comfortable over a long haul. FOR INFORMATION CIRCLE 132
