Toronto-based Clarke Inc., one of Canada's largest transportation companies with several motor carrier subsidiaries, has launched a non-asset-based logistics subsidiary called Clarke Logistics. The new unit will build on and strengthen the service offerings of Clarke Sunac, the company's third-party freight-management division. According to Senior Vice President Dan Goodwill, Clarke Logistics will be able to offer a complete range of services throughout North America through a marketing partnership with Landstar Logistics of Jacksonville, Fla.
