New lift truck line is built to order

Staff -- Logistics Management, 3/1/2005

The new Veracitor VX series of internal combustion engine lift trucks from Yale offers simplified maintenance, improved ergonomics, and easier customization.

Solid-state parts and component commonality minimize downtime and streamline scheduled maintenance. A new manufacturing process allows Yale to build customer-requested features and special equipment into the truck as it is being manufactured on the production line. This reduces the need for post-production modifications.

The first truck produced under this new manufacturing process is the Veracitor GC-VX. Three models are offered in this 4,000- to 7,000 -pound-capacity line: the Productivity truck, Value truck, and Base truck. The trucks are available with three engine options: the GM 2.4 L, Mazda 2.2L, and Mazda 2.0L. Other options include four different Yale transmissions and a variety of ergonomic features.
