Conference Examines Outsourcing's Role in Global Logistics

Shippers, carriers, and third-party logistics companies will meet in Amsterdam next month to discuss the role of outsourcing in global logistics strategies. The conference, called World Logistics '99, will be held April 14-16. The conference organizer is Triangle Management Services.
Speakers represent third-party logistics companies, software vendors, European government agencies, consultants, and other service vendors. Seminar topics include strategies for global supply chains, benchmarking international operations, and risk management in international trade.
