If you are looking for an exotic logistics experience, you may want to try the "logistics safari" organized by the South African Roundtable of the Council of Logistics Management (CLM). The April event will be held in Cape Town, Johannesburg, and the Kruger National Park. The safari offers logistics practitioners an opportunity to meet their counterparts in this emerging economy. The roundtable has planned conferences, facility visits, and sightseeing during the nine-day tour. The trip itinerary includes stops at the University of Stellenbosch, the Kazerne customs containerport, and a Toyota parts warehouse. It ends with an eight-hour safari into the Kruger National Park.
