Drexel Introduces SwingMast Lift Truck

Drexel Industries LLC's SwingMast Model SL-120 Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) lift truck was designed for truck loading/unloading and rack storage of palletized products.

This 64-inch-wide, 12,000-pound capacity truck features GE's SCR control package and will operate in aisles as narrow as 90 inches. The GE control unit uses one module for the transport motor and another for the hydraulic pump motor. Each module is fully programmable by the dealer to fit customer applications. This "plug 'n play" feature allows quick servicing and shorter downtime if service is necessary.

In addition to its VNA capabilities, the SL-120 can be used as a side-loader for long items such as pipe, steel beams, or lumber products, as well as a front-loading truck for general plant or warehouse applications.

Standard features include a 90-degree pivot and a 44-inch shift, automatic return to neutral, separate GE controls for traction and pump motors, battery discharge indicator with lift interrupt, hydrostatic power steering, and polyurethane tires on both load and rear-steer wheels. A three-stage mast is standard, allowing lift heights of up to 243 inches and mast tilt of three degrees forward and six degrees rear.
