TriEnda Offers Tougher Pallet

By Staff -- Logistics Management, 2/1/1998

TriEnda Corp., which manufactures twin-sheet thermoformed plastic pallets, self-palletized containers, and pallet positioners, now offers the new double-deck FD3240 pallet with standard "Grip-Lock Plus" anti-skid material. In ISO tests, the FD3240 proved 10 times tougher than pallets of similar size, weight, and rackable capacity.

The secret to the FD3240's strength, says the manufacturer, is its "outer skin." Instead of using a steel frame in the pallet, the FD3240 is designed to shift the frame strength to the plastic pallet's outer skin through a single-unit construction process, making the pallet stronger, lighter, and more cost-effective.

Grip-Lock Plus, standard on the FD3240 warehouse pallet, provides a skid-resistant surface that, when applied to a pallet's deck, exceeds the performance level of all other pallet anti-skid options, say TriEnda executives.

The FD3240 is rackable, stackable, conveyable, 100-percent recyclable, and eliminates product damage from splinters and nails.
