"Big Foot" Lift Truck Designed for Maneuverability

By Staff -- Logistics Management, 2/1/1998

Daewoo Equipment Corp. has introduced the "Big Foot" lift truck, a conversion of a standard Daewoo D25 internal-combustion-engine lift. The conversion kit features two 28- by 12.5-inch drive wheels, two 23- by 9- by 10-inch steering wheels, extended-length bolts and washers for wheel mounting, and two wide fenders. Dealer conversion of a D25S truck to the Big Foot option takes about one hour.

With its compact frame, the Big Foot lift truck features a tight turning radius. This new lift truck was designed for brickyards, lumberyards, packing operations, and other applications where loose dirt, mud, and puddles require increased flotation.

The truck also offers an additional 2 to 3 inches of ground clearance, making this series of trucks adaptable to heavy-duty yard applications.
