NAFTA Notes: Penske Truck Leasing will acquire the truck/tractor leasing and rental assets of Brampton, Ontario-based Provincial Capital Corp. The acquisition will add about 400 tractors and trucks to Penske's fleet. Wheels International Freight Systems Inc., a full-service provider of transportation and logistics services in Canada, Mexico, and the United States, has been named one of Canada's 50 best-managed private companies by The Financial Post business newspaper. Versacold, Canada's largest refrigerated public warehouse, has begun the next phase of the expansion of its Walker Center facility in Brampton, Ontario. The expansion will add 2.6 million feet of convertible freezer/cooler capacity, bringing the Walker Center's total to 7.9 million cubic feet. Canadian AirCargo has launched twice-daily non-stop service between San Diego and Vancouver, British Columbia. Shipments can connect in Vancouver to daily service to Tokyo and Taiwan.
