When you have a need for speed

These providers of expedited transportation services can help you get critical and emergency shipments to their destinations on time.

By Staff -- Logistics Management, 2/1/1998

C.H. Robinson says its CHR-Ex service offers more capacity than any of its competitors do through its contracts with carriers that control approximately 10,000 trucks. To ensure quality and control performance, CHR-Ex contractors commit to very specific service and information-management standards. If a shipment is more than four hours late, customers receive a 50-percent refund. Shippers can track their shipments' progress in real time either by contacting CHR-Ex operations or through the parent company's Web site. Although CHR-Ex focuses on full truckloads, the company also handles partial truckloads and LTL.
