When you have a need for speed

These providers of expedited transportation services can help you get critical and emergency shipments to their destinations on time.

By Staff -- Logistics Management, 2/1/1998

Roadway Express Time-Critical Services take advantage of Roadway's nearly 10,000 drivers and 9,000 tractors to offer expedited service throughout North America. The company makes use of driver relays and dedicated sleeper teams as appropriate to the individual shipment. Exclusive Service includes door-to-door, exclusive-use equipment; Priority Service speeds time-definite, non-emergency shipments through the LTL carrier's existing network. Roadway, which boasts a late-arrival rate of just 1 percent, offers a 100-percent service guarantee: If a shipment is late, no invoice will be issued.
