Imtec Offers Label Printer-Applicator

Imtec Inc., a manufacturer of bar-code labels and labeling systems, has introduced the "ApplyPro 4400'' Intermec-based label printer-applicator.

Designed for high-speed tamp application, ApplyPro 4400 offers omni-directional print-and-apply capability for label application to the top, bottom, back, front, or sides of cartons, cases, or direct to products' surfaces, with a variable stroke of up to 16 inches.

ApplyPro 4400 features a plug-and-play design with a modular construction, capable of printing all bar-code symbologies with a print resolution from 203 to 400 dpi. Optional features for the complete system include a "T" stand for cantilever line integration, low label/ribbon warning, three-light warning beacon tower, and dust-cover enclosure.136
