Tariff-Retrieval Product Available on Internet

RIS Information Services Inc., a technology-integration company, and Pacific Coast Tariff Bureau (P.C.T.B.), a tariff publisher and provider of tariff data services, offer the new "PLUS Tariff" Internet-based electronic tariff-retrieval product.

Using standard Web browsers, PLUS Tariff's search function allows searches by either commodity keywords or item number; "multi-search" query menus incorporating origins and/or destinations; and essential terms/service contract searches. Cross-tariff and cross-organization searching is another PLUS Tariff feature.

In addition, the system allows the user to view available tariffs, including rules, groups, and available essential terms. The product provides "in context" help as well as a form for user comments.
