Ford Motor Co. completes its Super-Duty F-Series family with the introduction of the all-new F-650 and F-750 models. The new class 6 and 7 commercial trucks, which have replaced the company's F-800 model, offer a choice of three cabs and three engines. The three cabs include the regular cab configuration, which is standard on the F-650 and F-750; the crew cab configuration; and the four-door supercab model. Customers can choose from the Cummins 5.9-liter ISB diesel, the Cat 3126E diesel, and the Ford 7.3-liter Power Stroke diesel engines. All engines are electronically controlled and 50-state emissions certified. The F-650 is available in a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 26,000 pounds--the highest GVWR that can be operated in most states without a commercial driver's license (CDL). Ford's F-750 is available in GVWRs of 30,000 and 33,000 pounds. Both trucks are offered as straight trucks and feature multiple wheelbases ranging from 158 to 260 inches.
