Carriers continue to enjoy the benefits of lower energy prices. Because most of the nation enjoyed a warmer-than-normal winter, demand for home heating fuel oil was down, leaving a more-than-adequate supply of transport fuels. With the problems in East Asian economies, there's been flat worldwide demand for all kinds of energy. Although we're unlikely to see much in the way of further declines this year, fuel prices aren't likely to rise much either
