Updated Logistics Trends Available

The Logistics Council of the American Trucking Associations has released the 1998 version of Logistics Trends, published to help transportation and logistics professionals keep abreast of key logistics and supply chain management issues.Included in the 1998 edition are chapters on the size and scope of the third-party logistics industry; air, rail, intermodal, and trucking freight patterns; projections for logistics expenditures; emerging international logistics developments; and logistics salaries for executive, management, and front-line personnel.
New features include a chapter on existing and future uses of information technology in logistics and a revised glossary of terms commonly used in the logistics field. Also, following each chart is a brief explanation of the information's relevance to the industry.
Logistics Trends costs $60 for ATA members and $80 for nonmembers.
