Count/Weigh Indicator Sets New Standards

By Staff -- Logistics Management, 3/1/1999

Pennsylvania Scale Co. has introduced the Monarch 8400 count/weigh indicator. According to the manufacturer, the indicator sets new standards for capabilities, flexibility, and ease of use.

Full-function programming is performed directly on the menu-driven, touch-sensitive screen. The operator can open self-prompting Windows-style screens to gain access to expanded functions.

Manufactured with a stainless-steel, dust-tight enclosure with bright LCD display for easy viewing in any lighting condition, the Monarch 8400 indicator includes three communications ports for data collection, printers, scanners, weight, or count data-processing systems.

Features include one-part-in-one-million resolution, standard memory and recall of up to 500 records, automatic sample update, and the ability to interface with a range of remote bases and load cells. The Monarch 8400 measures 9 inches by 7 inches by 3.5 inches and is designed for standard bench or wall mounting.FOR INFORMATION CIRCLE 138
