New Pallet Offers More Impact Resistance

By Staff -- Logistics Management, 4/1/1998

TriEnda Corp.'s DC 4000 distribution pallet will resist fork-truck and pallet-jack impact for long life and high return on investments in grocery and other wholesale/retail distribution applications, says the manufacturer.

The 40- by 48-inch DC4000 is made of high-density polyethylene plastic and withstands loads of 3,000 pounds or more. DC4000 was designed to perform 200 or more round trips in a closed-loop distribution system, and its light weight--just 23 pounds--saves on shipping charges and storage space.

Available with DC4000 is Grip-Lok Plus, a skid-resistant surface that reduces the chance of a product's slipping off the pallet or of pallets' sliding on trailer floors and damaging items.
