Global Logistics System Software Available

Syntra's logistics application software system, Global Logistics System (GLS), uses Oracle's Web-enabling tools, offering query access to GLS's Track and Trace System. Users can generate documentation and distribute those documents via the Internet.

One of GLS's key features is the workflow module. This tool is designed to catch exception or problem conditions in real time, and to assign their resolution to a specific person or department. GLS also supports government compliance across agencies and industries such as the U.S. State and Commerce Departments and the EPA.

GLS's document preparation is based on customer and country profiles. With this software, users can ship to and from any destination in the world, and all documents are available in multiple languages and currencies. In addition, the GLS system can manage order and shipment data, present current and historical views of the transactions associated with each shipment, and identify problems before they occur.
