Export-Management System Saves Time

Vastera's export management system, EMS-2000, provides electronic links to U.S. Customs and the Departments of Commerce and State, automated license determinations, order consolidation, required export documentation, multilingual capabilities, country-specific regulatory compliance, and more.The EMS-2000 systems alerts users to potential problems up front, which helps avoid delays in border crossings, fines, penalties, and possible loss of export privileges. In addition, the Vastera Client Services Organization provides EMS-2000 clients with regular updates on changing license regulations and requirements.
The Export Determination tool within EMS-2000 can automatically validate orders, conduct letter-of-credit checks, screen for denied parties and other export-license restrictions, and check the transaction for any user- and/or corporate-defined requirements.
EMS-2000 also features the Document Architect, which allows companies to create an unlimited number of customized forms to satisfy almost every conceivable documentation requirement.
