IHS Solutions Designed for Ease, Efficiency

Information Handling Services' TransPort Data Solutions has developed two import/export solutions--Trade Expert and Export Essentials.

Trade Expert is a solution designed to help users meet U.S. Customs' "informed compliance" guidelines with ease and efficiency. One feature of Trade Expert is Classit, an intelligence-based classification tool that provides guidance in classifying goods. This CD-ROM product contains information on the latest U.S. Customs rulings, harmonized tariff schedule, antidumping and countervailing duties, and Court of International Trade Slip Opinions.

The second solution, Export Essentials, is available on CD-ROM or on the Internet. It is designed to derive a classification number and solve exporting issues quickly and easily. Users can conduct a search for export information by keyword or phrase, Schedule B, or HTS number. This product also features interactive forms and access to rules of origin, Export Administration Regulations, CFR Titles 15 and 19, Federal Register, and NAFTA.

Both Trade Expert and Export Essentials are available with a monthly or quarterly subscription. FOR INFORMATION CIRCLE 140
