NextLinx Smooths Trade-Documentation Process

NextLinx Corp., formerly known as Exposoft, claims that its trade-automation software, Velocity, reduces overhead costs, accelerates transactions, eliminates errors, and adheres to government trade regulations.

The Velocity program consists of five separate applications. The first, ExportLinx, is designed to automate all aspects of the export process. When an order is received, ExportLinx detects the transaction and automatically initiates the regulatory process. Automated workflow features notify specific users of compliance and credit issues; handle Department of State licensing, license management, and reporting; and consolidate completed orders. Once an order is ready for shipment, the export license and letter of credit are validated. The necessary documentation is generated automatically, output to either electronic or hard copy, and instantly archived.

Another of Velocity's applications, ImportLinx, contains features that help users handle regulatory compliance, duty drawback, audit trail/record keeping, assist/valuation alerts, antidumping/countervailing duty management, import transaction reconciliation, EDI with brokers, preferential trade programs, liquidation/protest tracking, and global tariff table changes.

The other three Velocity applications are LogisticsLinx, ExportLinx.com, and CustomerLinx. FOR INFORMATION CIRCLE 141
