Conference Focuses on Technology in Global Logistics

An educational conference and exhibition focusing on high-technology applications in international logistics will be held next month in Laredo, Texas. Scheduled for June 3-5, the conference and trade show is sponsored by Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) in Laredo and Universidad Autonoma de Tamaulipas, Mexico.

The conference program, which is expected to attract logistics and transportation professionals from both the United States and Mexico, will address the application of technology in logistics, transportation, and international trade practices. One day will be devoted to future prospects for the North American Free Trade Agreement. A concurrent trade show will feature exhibits by providers of logistics information, transportation, and international trade services.
