Border Lines

By Staff -- Logistics Management, 5/1/1998

What's in a name? As companies change their organizational structures to reflect their North American market orientation, many are changing their names to match. International freight forwarder Panalpina will merge Panalpina USA and Panalpina Canada into a single organization. The combined group, with 1,500 employees and 54 offices, will be known as Panalpina North America. Exel Logistics North America is going even further, changing its name to Exel Logistics Americas to reflect its expanded presence in Canada and Mexico as well as its entry into South American markets.
