Old Dominion Freight Line Inc. has acquired selected assets of Skyline Transportation Inc.'s Knoxville, Tenn.-based LTL operation. By combining the two operations, Old Dominion plans to provide customers with more direct service points to both metropolitan and rural areas throughout the southeastern United States.
