Labor

By Daryl Delano -- Logistics Management, 6/1/1998

Wage inflation in the freight-transport industry has accelerated somewhat in recent months--as it has across most of the U.S. economy--but remains generally under control. Average weekly pay earned by railroad-industry workers actually fell by 1.7% over the same period.
