AccuLoad Provides Accurate Positioning

By Staff -- Logistics Management, 5/1/1999

Lee Engineering, the manufacturer of Presto-brand materials-handling equipment, has introduced the new Presto AccuLoad pallet loader/unloader--a device that can be adjusted to position workloads of up to 3,000 pounds quickly and accurately.

Unlike other pallet loaders, the AccuLoad can make adjustments that take effect instantaneously, says the manufacturer. It comes standard with an 80 psi pneumatic foot control--a hand control option also is available--and its lift height can be adjusted to compensate for variable load weights and operator heights. With an up/down motion range of 21 inches, the unit eliminates the need for the operator to bend, stretch, or reach, making it safer and more ergonomic.

Built with heavy-duty structural steel, the unit has a 43-inch diameter turntable and a new bearing design, which minimizes the effort required to adjust the turntable. Pneumatically controlled air bellows can raise the table to 30.5 inches or lower it to 9.5 inches.

The AccuLoad comes fully assembled and carries a standard Presto five-year warranty on its structure and one-year guarantee on all other elements. FOR INFORMATION CIRCLE 143
