Pentax Technologies Introduces Portable Printer

New materials-handling equipment designed to boost productivity helps warehouse workers move, store, and cross-dock goods quickly.

Pentax Technologies Corp. has introduced the PocketJet II portable printer. Unlike the original PocketJet, the new Windows-based printer has no memory limitations.

A complete PocketJet II kit includes the printer, rechargeable nickel cadmium battery, universal AC adapter/charger, AC power cord, parallel interface cable, printer carrying case, and a 100-sheet box of letter-size paper. Pentax Technologies also sells the printer alone and offers additional accessories to users who want a custom configuration.

The PocketJet II supports variable form lengths from 1 to 14 inches. In addition, the printer includes a parallel interface as a standard feature and has an optional IrDA module that plugs into the parallel interface port for wireless printing.
