When time is of the essence...

New materials-handling equipment designed to boost productivity helps warehouse workers move, store, and cross-dock goods quickly

By Staff -- Logistics Management, 6/1/1998

Orbis has unveiled a new "4845'' bulk knock-down container called BulkPak. The container comes in a 48- by 45-inch footprint. It can handle up to 2,500 pounds of material and may be ordered in different heights and colors.

The container can be ordered in 17-, 20-, 25-, and 34-inch high versions to hold the right volume of material. The stack-only containers come in 17- and 20-inch heights.

Doors are available on all four sides to allow easy access to the contents. The unit also features one-piece replaceable access door hinges and latches for easy repair or replacement.
