Scheduled air transportation rates fell 0.3% from October to November following three months of regular monthly price hikes of between 0.4% and 0.7%. For the entire 12-month period ending with November 1999, prices for air-transportation service rose 2.0%. Our forecast calls for these prices to slow down to a 1.2% hike in 2000. Express service aircargo prices, however, were up 13.8% in the 12-month period that ended with November 1999. In contrast, prices for scheduled airfreight services were up only 1.2% from November 1998 to

November 1999.
