Fuel
By Staff -- Logistics Management, 1/1/2000
It's no surprise that fuel surcharges have become so common lately. Between February 1999 and November 1999, the average price of U.S. fuels rose 74.4%. But we think fuel prices are headed for a fall. As crude oil costs move to their peak, petroleum refiners have a way of letting up on the price accelerator. We believe that crude-oil prices currently are in transition and should be falling by spring. Until then, shippers may continue to face fuel surcharges.Source: Thinking Cap Solutions
