AC Buckhorn Introduces Center Flow Container

By Staff -- Logistics Management, 3/1/2000

AC Buckhorn has added the Center Flow Container to its line of reusable materials-handling products. The Center Flow is ideal for shipping, storing, and dispensing products ranging from seed and feed to fasteners, pelletized resins, and small parts.

The bulk Center Flow Container has a 56.5- by 48-inch footprint with a 58.3- cubic-foot capacity and carries 2,500 pounds fully loaded. Its smooth-sided interior funnel design allows complete emptying without tipping. The center flow discharge port is generous enough to allow quick emptying of part or all of the contents. One person controls the discharge rate using a side-access sliding door.

In addition to improving operator safety, Center Flow Containers feature reinforced sidewalls for structural integrity and product protection, easy handling with four-way forklift entry, and steel corner hit plates to deflect fork tines. The container's upper section detaches and inverts for efficient nesting and storage when empty. Snug fitting lids protect contents from contaminants, rodents, moisture, dirt, and dust. Center Flow Containers are molded from HDPE/structural foam for strength and years of dependable service.
