Security Storage Co., a moving, storage, and logistics provider based in Washington, D.C., has appointed Larry DePace senior vice president. DePace is responsible for directing the development of the company's expanding transportation and logistics systems and services.Hellmann Worldwide Logistics Inc. has named Fernando Arias executive manager for the company's Latin American Development Board. Arias's primary responsibility involves developing new services for the Latin American market, including the company's new Asia-Latin America ocean-airfreight service.
GeoLogistics Europe has appointed Holger Puenjer chief executive officer of GeoLogistics GmbH in Germany. Puenjer previously served as sales and marketing director.
AEI has named Kenneth A. Nieze vice president-global sales and marketing, Europe. Nieze had been AEI's vice president of sales and marketing, North America.
The National Private Truck Council (NPTC) has appointed James A. Noble as its new director of safety. In addition to serving as the council's chief staff contact on truck safety issues, Noble also acts as liaison between the NPTC and the new federal safety agency.
Daylight Transport, an expedited, longhaul less-than-truckload service provider, has named Douglas R. Waggoner president. Waggoner had most recently served as executive vice president.
CSX Transportation Inc. has named Frederick J. Favorite Jr. senior vice president of finance.
