LINPAC Material Handling's Extended Height family of ROPAK collapsible containers now features increased weight capacity. The reusable containers' newly designed, one-piece molded base creates greater rigidity and strength than previous models, allowing the containers to hold up to 1,700 pounds, depending on container height. The weight capacity of the 39-, 42-, 48-, and 50-inch height containers has increased by 500 pounds apiece. The 39- and 42-inch height containers now have a capacity of 1,700 pounds and the 48- and 50-inch height containers both hold up to 1,500 pounds. Winged sidewall models are still rated at 1,000 pounds.
ROPAK's Extended Height containers feature a 45- by 48-inch footprint and are available in four height options--39, 42, 48, or 50 inches. Optional open-winged sidewalls are available on the 45-inch sides of the 42-, 48-, and 50-inch height containers to improve access to contents. Drop doors are available on the 48-inch sides.
These containers are ideal for products that are too tall for standard-sized containers, according to the manufacturer. Applications include automotive components, plastics and rubber, textiles, computers and peripherals, paper products, and industrial products.
