Shipping Container Designed for Reuse

By Staff -- Logistics Management, 3/1/2000

Superior Container Systems offers blow-molded reusable shipping containers. With a 45- by 48-inch footprint and heights from 34 to 44 inches, this high-density polyethylene, blow-molded shipping container is lighter and more durable than a structural foam container, says the manufacturer.

These containers feature drop gates, covers, four-way entry, interlocking sidewalls, and snap-together assembly. The manufacturer makes a standard model and a heavy-duty, steel-reinforced pallet base for its containers. All containers interstack with structural foam containers.
