Monarch Introduces Handheld Printer

Monarch Marking Systems Inc. of Miamisburg, Ohio, has unveiled a handheld printer that can be integrated with both Palm III devices and Symbol SPT 1500 computers, giving users of these devices a compact, all-in-one printing capability. The new printer, which weighs less than 16 ounces and operates on four AA batteries, produces 2-inch by 4-inch receipts.

The Monarch 6015 printer features a clam-shell design for quick loading. It also uses thermal-direct printing to enhance the clarity of receipts.
