The private sector borrowed the term "logistics" from the military

The private sector borrowed the term "logistics" from the military; now the military has commandeered a phrase from civilians. In reporting the situation in Kosovo last month, NATO spokesman Jamie Shea said NATO forces were able to pin down the Yugoslav army and "cut them off from their supply chain and resupply routes."
