Andersen Consulting has sponsored a new thought-leadership project from Montgomery Research called "ASCET: Achieving Supply Chain Excellence Through Technology." The collaborative project will investigate how technology provides a competitive advantage. Practitioners, consultants, solution and software providers, associations, and academicians will participate in the project, which aims to deliver decision-support tools to top executives. Dave Anderson, partner in the Andersen Consulting supply chain practice, notes, "The pace of change and the breadth of technology throughout the supply chain represent a key advantage for those firms [that] can best harness technology's power."
