Chep Americas

By Staff -- Logistics Management, 8/1/1998

Chep Americas has begun testing the deployment of rackable plastic pallets at select locations in the United States. Chep says it has worked closely with the plastics industry to develop plastic pallets that meet the distribution industry's wish list for durability, strength, rackability, and weight.

Chep Americas is an international pallet- and container-pooling company serving manufacturers and distributors in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. It says it supplies customers with high-quality pallets and reusable containers from a depot network with more than 200 locations. The company is part of the worldwide Chep organization, which operates in 27 countries on five continents and controls more than 84 million pallets and containers.
