Kiwi's Bag Printer Reduces Costs

By Staff -- Logistics Management, 7/1/1999

The Kiwi Coders Corp. says its Model 2712 Manual Feed Bag Printer eliminates the need for costly inventories of preprinted bags and the high labor cost of hand-applied labels or stenciling.

The Model 2712 prints bags from 6 to 27 inches in width and from 16 to 46 inches in length. Information can be imprinted at any position within the print area. The printer can imprint multiwall paper bags, polyethylene bags, and rigid flat sheets.

The printer is available with a manual feed or an optional automatic vacuum feed system that prints bags at speeds of up to 30 bags per minute. The Model 2712 features a single-revolution, clutch-driven print cylinder and only requires 55 by 60 inches of floor space.
