Color Label Printer Saves Time

Astro-Med Inc.'s QuickLabel Systems Division has developed the QLS-4000, a new four-color digital label printer that allows users to print any quantity of custom labels with variable information on demand.

With its all-metal construction, the QLS-4000 is designed to operate continuously under demanding conditions. Wear parts are easily accessible and can be removed in seconds for cleaning or replacement without any tools.

The printer requires no printing plates, messy inks, toners, or hot stamp dies. Formatting and printing at speeds of up to 5 ips, the QLS-4000 operates without hesitation between labels. In addition, the printer supports all bar-code symbologies, including the 2-D codes. Each printer is supplied with either a Macintosh or Windows printer driver, allowing the use of almost any commercial graphics software.
