Dock Bumpers Provide Years of Protection

By Staff -- Logistics Management, 8/1/1999

Laminated heavy-duty dock bumpers from Xtreme Needs are ideal for high-traffic commercial loading docks, are long wearing, and provide many years of protection, says the distributor. They are constructed of tough, rubberized-fabric truck-tire pads assembled on a heavy-gauge steel frame. Positive anchoring through 1/4-inch-thick steel end plates provides stability and ensures shape retention.

The dock bumpers are available in a wide range of thicknesses, overall sizes, and lengths. The minimum thickness available is 4 1/2 inches, and overall dimensions range from 6 inches by 16 inches, up to 36 inches by 14 inches for standard-sized bumpers.
