Dock Lift Ideal for Buildings Without Docks

By Staff -- Logistics Management, 8/1/1999

Air Technical Industries has introduced the "Zero-Low Dock Lift" for use in loading and unloading trucks when loading docks are not available.

The lift can lower flush to ground level, and the table has a beveled front edge, making it easy for loads to glide onto the platform. Loads can be placed on the table by forklift, hand truck, or rolling carts. A hinged dock plate forms a "bridge" between the dock lift and the truck, allowing the operator to ease the load off the deck and into the truck bed.

The Zero-Low Dock Lift has side fenders that allow a pallet to rest level and securely while the forks of a forklift or pallet truck are removed. The unit is available in capacities ranging from 1,000 to 10,000 pounds.
