Lightweight Separator Panel Cushions Products

Edgeco's new "Inner-Pak" separator panels help cushion layers of products loaded on pallets, preventing costly damage in transit. Each panel measures 40 inches by 48 inches by 1 inch and weighs just 4 pounds. The unit's unique cell structure can support heavy weight without crushing, according to the manufacturer.

The heavy-duty kraft-paper pads can be used between layers and as top protectors. They can be bent, folded, or sectioned, providing flexibility in shipping configurations. They also can be used as void fillers and dunnage panels inside cartons.

Because the panels have no sharp edges, slivers, or nails, they are ideal for use with shrinkwrap, the manufacturer says. They are lighter than wood or plastic separators and are both reusable and biodegradable.
