SpectraLink Offers New Wireless Phone

By Staff -- Logistics Management, 10/1/1998

SpectraLink has unveiled its next generation of wireless phones--the "Link 3000'' Wireless Telephone System (WTS). The Link WTS provides a workplace wireless-phone system that offers scaleable, networked architecture. The system can be scaled to serve from 16 to more than 3,000 users.

The Link WTS can support up to 1,200 base stations in a single system. It has a digital interface that can connect it to more than 85 percent of the business telephone systems.

Wireless phones make it possible for a distribution-center or warehouse manager to stay in touch while moving throughout a warehouse.
