Cookson Expands Finished-Goods Pallet Line

Cookson Plastic Molding's Material Handling Division has added two new sizes to its lineup of finished-goods plastic pallets. The Duro-Cell Finished-Goods Pallet is now available in 36- by 36-inch and 37- by 37-inch sizes.

Made from heavy-duty, structurally molded high-density polyethylene, this new pallet is designed for durability while protecting products, reducing injuries, and cutting transportation and disposal costs.

Duro-Cell pallets feature one-piece molding, completely encapsulated leg cavities to prevent contaminants from collecting and spreading, and rounded legs and four-way forklift/pallet jack entries to improve access and to reduce possible injuries.

According to the manufacturer, the use of Duro-Cell plastic pallets reduces labor costs because workers no longer need to sort and repair wooden pallets.

The new units also enhance cleanliness and sanitation, and increase efficiency because there is less equipment downtime caused by wooden pallets jamming equipment.
